About Klint
Klint A. Spiller is a partner at Kennedy Berkley, P.A., where he brings deep Kansas roots and practical legal experience to his work with individuals, landowners, and businesses across the state.
A lifelong Kansan, Klint was born and raised in Saline County and is proud to call the area home. He earned bachelor’s degrees in journalism and political science from Fort Hays State University before graduating from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2017. Following law school, Klint made the intentional decision to return to Saline County to raise his family in the same community where his family has lived for more than a century. He has since purchased his grandparents’ farm ground and, together with his wife, is living out their dream of country life.
Klint’s practice focuses on banking law, business law, commercial law, ad valorem tax law (real estate tax law), property law, collections, and landlord/tenant law. He has extensive experience closing loan and real estate transactions, litigating property disputes, appealing real estate tax valuations on behalf of property owners, and handling foreclosures and evictions.
In 2022, Klint achieved a significant victory for the grain industry when the Kansas Court of Appeals ruled in favor of his client, resulting in a reduction of ad valorem tax liability for grain elevators across the State of Kansas. His work reflects a strong understanding of both the legal and practical realities facing Kansas landowners and businesses.
