Laurel Driskell Honored with Wichita Business Journal’s Women in Business Award

Kennedy Berkley partner Laurel Driskell has been named to the Wichita Business Journal Women in Business 2023 honoree list (subscription required). The list recognizes the achievements of women entrepreneurs, high level executives, and organization partners in Kansas.

Laurel’s extensive experience in family law and longtime connections to the local community make her a compassionate provider of prenuptial, divorce, and child custody services in the Salina area.

Laurel earned her bachelor’s degree in English and Communication Studies from the University of Kansas (KU) in 2015, going on to receive her J.D. through the KU School of Law in 2018.

Since 2018, Laurel has served on the State of Kansas Indigents Defense Services Board and the Salina Child Care Association Board. She has been a member of the Greater Salina Community Foundation Grants and Scholarships Committee and the Salina Area United Way Board since 2019, and she has filled a number of different roles – most recently President – with the Ottawa County Bar Association. Laurel is also the Governor of the Kansas Bar Association Board of Governors, and she served as Committee Chair of the Kansas Women Attorneys Association from 2019 to 2021.

Laurel and other award recipients will be honored at a banquet on Tuesday, September 26th from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Wichita.
