Kennedy Berkley is proud to announce the promotion of Laurel Michel Driskell from associate to partner, which took effect January 1, 2023. During her tenure at the firm, she has served countless clients with their most sensitive family law needs, grown her business year after year and demonstrated an unwavering commitment to serving the local legal community as well as other regional organizations.
In her family law practice, Laurel is committed to providing clients personalized and compassionate support to help them obtain the most favorable and timely solution. She provides services for prenuptial agreements, divorce, spousal support, asset and debt division, and post-divorce financial planning. Laurel also provides counsel related to child custody and parenting time, child support, adoptions, guardianship and conservatorship and guardian ad litem work.

Laurel is a dedicated member of her community and dedicated her time to multiple organizations, including the Kansas Bar Association Board of Governors, the Saline - Ottawa County Bar Association, The Kansas Women Attorneys Association, the State of Kansas Indigents Defense Services Board, the Salina Child Care Association Board, the Greater Salina Community Foundation and the Salina Area United Way Board.
Laurel received her J.D. in 2018 from the University of Kansas Law School. In law school, she served as staff editor and articles editor of the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy, and she clerked for Kennedy Berkley. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English and Communication Studies with distinction and university and departmental honors from the University of Kansas in 2015.
