The Firm has a long tradition of representing Kansas financial institutions in banking transactions of every kind, as well as in regulatory issues and corporate governance matters. The Firm is committed to providing its banking clients with high quality legal services that respond to their banking and business needs in a timely and cost-effective manner. We regularly represent banks, savings associations, credit unions, and other financial institutions in a wide variety of lending and other financing transactions, including large multi-bank credit facilities, asset-backed and secured loans, real estate loans, letter of credit facilities, and loan participations. We assist banking clients on a daily basis on collection, foreclosure, and bankruptcy issues. We have represented banks in merger and acquisition transactions, the formation of bank holding companies, and the chartering of new financial institutions. We also provide advice and assistance to banking clients with respect to varied federal and state bank regulatory matters.
